Making a purchase from us
When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. Our PayPal online payment system takes you to PayPal's Secure Online Payments Server, after you have clicked on the 'Pay Now' button. Please note that, the shopping basket is automatically emptied on clicking 'Pay Now, so if you decide part-way through the sale process to cancel, you will need to re-select the goods you want if you subsequently decide to make a purchase. You will receive an e-mail from PayPal to confirm your purchase. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order. If it should transpire that the item or items you have purchased are presently out of stock, we will tell you in the e-mail, and give you an estimate of the likely date for the items coming into stock. If the delay is unacceptable you will be welcome to a full refund at your discretion.
How to place an order
To place an order, browse the various product categories to find the items you want. When you find a product you might be interested in, click on the 'View Product Details' link. This opens a new window containing more details about the specific product, and includes an 'Add to Shopping Basket' button. If you wish to purchase the product, click the 'Add to Shopping Basket' button, and you will be taken to the Basket page to view the product you have chosen. In the Basket table there is a column for adjusting the quantity of each product - click in the number box to select the '1', type in your new quantity and click 'change'. If you decide you do not wish to keep the item, click 'Remove' in the Remove Item column. If you select a number of products, and then decide to cancel your choices, simply click the 'Click Here to Empty Your Shopping Basket' link.
When you have completed the selecting of your purchases, click the 'Pay Now' button. This action takes you away from the Shopping Basket, and to the PayPal Secure Payments Server. If you wish to cancel the transaction, do not login to PayPal, but click on 'Cancel and return to merchant' at the bottom of the page. This will return you to Mad 4 Ink's Cancellation Confirmation page. However, if you wish to proceed with your purchase, log in to PayPal with your PayPal Account e-mail address and password. Check your shipping address and the payment details, then click 'Pay Now'. When finished, click on 'Return to Merchant' and you will be returned to Mad 4 Ink's Payment Confirmation Page.
For the majority of orders, Mad 4 Ink does not charge for carriage.
However, in exceptional circumstances, Mad 4 Ink reserves the right to impose carriage charges, where such costs would prove detrimental to the company's best interests. In such a circumstance, Mad 4 Ink will contact the purchaser before despatch with details of the charge, and if the charges are not agreed by the purchaser, the order will be cancelled, and the purchaser will receive a full refund. If you are in any doubt about about potential carriage charges, please do not hesitate to contact Mad 4 Ink, and we will be happy to discuss your concerns.
If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly - within a maximum of fourteen days.
Cancellation and returns
You can cancel your purchase at any time up to 7 working days after the day of delivery. To do this, please e-mail us or write to us. You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future. If you cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage. If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value. This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights - for example, if goods are faulty or mis-described.
If there is a problem with the goods, please contact us. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.
